*8/12/08 Victory Five - Mark Hargreaves gave a stern warning to his club rivals with his fastest five mile performance in four years.

Clocking 26:17, Mark also moves to third place in the 2008 UK rankings behind Phil Parry and Dave Buzza. It's an age grading score of 91.3%, which leaves the England International in perfect shape to tear up the 2008/2009 club championship scores at the Christmas 10k.

The time equals anything recorded at the Littledown Five in September when the club, without Mark, had four runners under twenty-seven minutes. And although the club is improving year on year, Mark at 48 is determined to keep with the pace and stay one step ahead of the younger generation.
