*5/5/09 Summer season now underway - At the Dorset/Somerset Combined Events which took place at Street, Somerset, on 25 and 26 April, James Lelliott was the overall winner, and in the course of achieving this he beat his own U17 club record, with a remarkable score of 5019 points.

Nicholas Hunt was also competing, but, by his own very high standards, was disappointed to finish 4th in the Pentathlon with 2234 points.

The Southern Women's Track League has begun for the year. Here are the results from the first fixture:
