Road Runners Romp To Ropley Win
*27/5/08 Ropley 10k - Andrew Jennings ran a personal best to bring home the winning team in the 2008 Ropley 10k.

Bournemouth AC packed four runners in the top ten adding to a growing list of 2008 team honours.

Jennings has been training with the squad since the end of March and his form is really beginning to take effect finishing narrowly behind 2:38 marathon man Ian White.

'Injured' (!!) Mark Hargreaves finished fourth on the testing course while Stu Fox was second. Stu will be disappointed not to have challenged Winchester AC's Matt King more for overall race victory given his upturn in form in 2008.

Sixteen-year-old Liam Hargreaves returned from a break from the sport and completed the course in 41 minutes fifty seconds, not far from his personal best.

2 Stu Fox 34:02, 4 Mark Hargreaves 34:42, 8 Ian White 36:03, 10 Andy Jennings 36:06, 44 Liam Hargreaves 41:50.

In the Egdon Easy 10k on Saturday night, Simon Hunt finished second M50 clocking 37:37 in windy conditions.
