Purbeck 10k
*9/5/08 - Bournemouth's veterans led the way in the Purbeck 10k this week with Mark Hargreaves and Tony Chutter the first two home from BAC.

Hargreaves is making a steady return to competitive action and his 34:04 was enough for third place overall and top M45. Only a tight hamstring in the latter stages prevented him challenging 2nd placed George Miller.

Tony Chutter was fourth M45 in 35:59. The time was good enough to place him fourth in the club championship in his first 10k outing of the year.

Further down the field Laurent Kelly and Robin Copestick had a close battle between themselves. Kelly came out on top clocking 37:41, just seventeen seconds ahead of Robbo.

Ian Graham (42:33), Joe Price (45:57) and Will Price (54:46) also turned out for the club.

Andy Jennings finished sixth in the Fordingbridge Fire Station 10k at the weekend in around 36 minutes. The club championship has been updated to show the relevant Purbeck 10k results; Andy's exact time will be added when the race results are published.
