Milborne Ten kicks off the 2009 Dorset road race league

*15/1/09 Third straight Milborne win for BAC - Bournemouth AC took the Milborne 10 team title for the third consecutive year, but were made to work hard for the win.

In form Poole Runners duo Lee Rodriguez and George Miller took first and second on the hilly course.

Bournemouth then packed seven runners into the next thirteen places including Ian White nursing an injury, Jon Sharkey competing the day after the Dorset County Cross Country Championships and Steve Way whose resting heart rate should have left him in bed for the day!

Michael Cowham's recent hard work in training was rewarded with a personal best despite the difficulty of the course. Even though the route is only 9.79 miles, the hilly terrain and excellent team performance mean the times are being included in the club championship rankings.
