Summer Solstice / Foulees Carentanaises
*23/6/08 Four podium finishes across two races - BAC recorded four podium finishes across two races on a midsummer weekend of racing.

First up was the Moors Valley 8k Summer Solstice. Steve Way notched up his second June win in emphatic style despite struggling with a niggling hamstring problem. His victory kept the Solstice title in the yellow and blue of Bournemouth for a second successive year.

Ian White finished the race in 2nd place. In-form White battled with Mike Grist throughout the race and prevailed with a strong final mile. Nick Kenchington finished 6th while Ian Graham was 21st.

In Carentan, Normandy, Jon Sharkey finished 2nd in Les Foulees Carentanaises; a 7k blast in the French countryside. Cherry Sheffrin completed a trio of runners up berths with second in the women's race contested over the same distance.
