Upton House Time Trial, Maiden Castle Loop & New Forest Ten

*12/7/09 Fox In Form - Stu Fox took his second victory in successive weeks at the Maiden Castle Loop. Running on his own from start to finish, Stu completed the hilly and off-road 6.5 mile course in 39:05.

Simon Way wrapped up a series win in the Poole Runners summer time trials with his fourth M40 win in four races. Continuing to improve along the way, a new 16 second best saw him finish amongst six BAC athletes in the top ten.

In a series so far dominated by the host club, Jon Sharkey took overall victory ahead of Ian White with Nick Kenchington, Graeme Miller (running for Littledown) and Simon Hunt all joining Way in the top ten. White and Hunt are still in with a chance of series honours with the current permutations explained by Poole Runners. The fifth of six races is on Friday 7 August.

Joe Price has seen the benefits of club training sessions recently and earned himself a PB in the New Forest Ten. He completed the course in 75:10 with Will Price clocking 89:15.

Having surveyed Power of 10 for recent BAC results there is a new leader in the 10km section of the club championship. Results from last week's Portland Ten have also been included.
