White Lightening
*18/2/08 Ian steals the show at Lytchett - An astounding half minute personal best from Ian White (57:27) stole the show at the Lytchett Ten. Ian must like this course with his previous PB also coming on the undulating circuit.

There's very little flat around Lytchett and White revelled on the inclines. Williard Chinhanhu and Nigel Leighton ran clear from the rest of the field and White ran hard with a second group beating Mike Grist for the first time.

Jon Sharkey (57:22) was extremely lucky to finish BAC's first scorer. Sharkey struggled with a tight chest between three and four miles, but recovered the situation in the last two miles for a sixth placed finish and a solid start to his Dorset Road League title defence.

Tony Chutter and Simon Hunt followed soon after, but Poole Runners narrowly won team honours on the day. Robin Copestick showed signs of improvement as fifth scorer as BAC also finished Dorset League runners up.

Ian Graham meanwhile took his second age group prize of the month winning the M60 category.
