Lelliott featured in Athletics Weekly

*18/4/09 O'Reilly earns South West vest - Readers of Athletics Weekly will have read a full page article about James Lelliott which can be found on page 12 of the issue of 16 April 2009. The article is part of the "Rising Stars - tomorrow's champions" series which appears regularly in AW, and it is a clear acknowledgement of James' achievements that he has been selected to feature.

Included in the article is an interesting account as to how James became involved in athletics, and, of course, mention is made of his club, and his coach, Brian Camp. AW state James' long jump PB as 6.94, but at the Spring Open Meeting at Kings Park on 4 April, James jumped an incredible 7.13! Copies of the issue of AW will be available at the track.

Whilst watching the London Marathon on 26 April, look out for Fergus O'Reilly. Fergus has been asked to run in the South West team at the London Mini-Marathons. After a highly successful cross-country season, this is a highly deserved honour for Fergus, and it is believed that the Mini-Marathons will be shown live on BBC, and will also feature in the 'Highlights' broadcast in the evening.
