JP Completes 31st Madrid Marathon

Historicos continues run
- Juan Pedro Lopez Cascante last weekend completed the Madrid Marathon; for the
thirty-first time.
The
Spaniard has completed every single outing in the Capital since running the
inaugural race aged just fourteen.
Featured on Madrid Marathon web site's homepage running the 2007 race (right) JP completed the 2008 course in three hours, thirty minutes and forty-seven seconds.
The 2005 BAC Marathon trophy winner is the youngest member of a select band of runners to have completed all thirty-one Madrid Marathons, collectively known as the Historicos.
A great PB requires one good race - an achievement such as this requires three decades of pure dedication.
