BAC Enjoy Glorious Goodwood
*10/11/08 Hampshire League Cross Country - Under 15 starlet Fergus O’Reilly stormed to victory in the second Hampshire Cross Country fixture at Goodwood while the Senior Men increased their advantage at the top of Division Two.

Bouncing straight back from last year’s relegation, the Senior Men’s team have now won both opening fixtures forging a dominant lead at the top of the division.

Mark Hargreaves powered through the field after a conservative start in preparation for next week’s home countries International fixture finishing second overall veteran.

Ian Habgood pipped Mike Hammacott to second scorer with both entering the top fifty. Laurent Kelly was next despite wearing trainers around the slippery route while Nick Kenchington completed the scoring quintet in his first race since completing the Loch Ness Marathon.

O’Reilly went one better than his second place at Farley Mount and is now a strong contender to win the Under 15 championship.
