NEWS HOMEPAGE ENTRY FORMS CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP BAC PHOTO ALBUM

Lahet (Esclop d'Azun).

Given the intense training the squad was subject to over the next six days it proved a wise idea to race at the beginning rather than the end of the week. Rob McTaggart finished fourth picking up the prize for first senior male while Ian White battled his ongoing injury to compete and finish 14th.

John Boyes was second V50, Ian Graham first V60 and with Cherry Sheffrin and Mike Jordan finishing around half way in the field, it was a successful day for the eight Bournemouth athletes.

More photos from the race can be found in the newly created 2009 photo album.

See the web site at Pyrenean Retreat for details of high altitude running holidays organised by former 2hr 13 marathon runner John Boyes.
